I'm a color-obsessed mixed media abstract artist. I am simultaneously a country and city girl, and a lover of adventure. I love the stories we build from the memories of our adventures. In addition, I am a soul supporter, a playground defender, and an authentic weirdo! My art is about celebration, uplifting others, and raw self-expression. When you experience my art, I want you to be reminded that you are enough, I want it to bring you joy, and I want you to feel encouraged.
I am inspired by women who through the ages, pushed their limits and led life with heart, resilience, kindness, and strength.
Growing up in a world that told me there were rules I needed to follow — like I needed to be seen and not heard. I couldn't be outspoken, stubborn, authentic, overweight, or ugly. That my left-handedness was not normal and to make sure almost everything in this world is made for right handers. (no offense right handers) Nor was dyslexia, ADHD or lack of focus normal so I needed to be fixed. Because I didn't fit the box, I needed to be molded by a society that knew better. At the end of the day, I am thankful for this journey because it is what made me stronger, to have the drive to take up/speak up for myself and others.
I want others to join me on this wild adventure called life and to live to the fullest. All roads are different but you do you and enjoy the ride!
